The Babkala™ is a product of my own invention. A genius hybrid between the rugala and babka, this muffin-size babkala offers a mouthful of crispiness with every bite. The dough is slightly less yeasty but definitely more buttery (though not dairy) than the babka dough. With a hint of coconut, pareve cream cheese and real vanilla beans, this pumpkin babkala, made with real pumpkin, is a must-have for the fall, and all year round. Topped with my signature crispy steusel, this item is a winner. Bite in and you won’t know what hit you.
